At Spring nurseries we follow the early years voluntary food guidelines which means everything prepared on site is healthy, nutritious and helps your children try out a variety of foods.

While we are in lock down and staying home, we thought you might need some ideas for snacks each day. Children typically have a snack in the morning and afternoon at our settings and enjoy time out from learning and sharing social time with their peers. Try some of our ideas below:
- Monday – Wholemeal pitta fingers, tomato slices and cheese cubes with water and milk to drink.
- Tuesday – Breadsticks and vegetable slices with water and milk to drink.
- Weds – Toasted crumpet, vegetable oil spread and water or milk to drink.
- Thursday – Homemade cheese scone (warmed) and water or milk to drink.
- Friday – Pitta fingers , tzatziki and cucumber slices with water or milk to drink.
